Richelle Hassell
President
Richelle is a graduate of the Epsilon Pi chapter at University of California, Riverside. She relocated to Sacramento in 2008 and currently works in operations at Visit California. Richelle joined the alumnae board in 2023, serving as its Events Chair where she has enjoyed connecting with so many wonderful women at various activities. When not working, Richelle enjoys exploring different neighborhoods, being out in nature or enjoying a quiet afternoon reading. She remains close with several of her Epsilon Pi pledge sisters - some of her favorite Kappa memories being the ones made traveling abroad together or just meeting up for a weekend. Richelle is honored to represent her Sacramento Valley Kappa sisters and is looking forward to serving them in an ever-evolving capacity.
Melissa Yap
Treasurer
Melissa is a graduate of the Epsilon Omicron Chapter, at University of California, Davis. She currently works at UC Davis in the Central Finance department. She has many favorite Kappa memories, but some of her highlights include recruitment, living in, and meeting some of her best friends. She currently resides in Roseville with her husband and two young sons. For fun she likes to hang out with her family, travel, read, and bake.
Cynthia Carroll
Secretary
Cynthia attended Santa Clara University where she joined the Eta Nu Chapter in 2011. Post-grad she served in the Americorps program in the Sierra Nevada and now works as a contracts analyst for the State of California. She lives in Land Park with her husband and two cats, Gigi and Rue. In her free time, she enjoys paddleboarding, skiing, and cooking
Erika Mares
Membership Development Chair
Erika Mares attended the University of Tulsa for her undergraduate education where she joined the Delta Pi chapter. Erika was a teacher, retail manager, and assistant athletic director at San Jose State University and public relations liaison with the San Francisco 49ers. Recently she embarked on her most significant and rewarding position as mother to her daughter Rylee-Wynter. Erika previously served on the board for the Epsilon Omicron chapter at UC Davis as VP of External Affairs, Philanthropy, PR, Education, and Alumnae Relations. Erika also previously served on the House Board for Epsilon Omicron as President and Co-Vice President. In addition, she embraced serving the Fraternity in Zeta District as a Ritual and History Specialist. Currently Erika serves the fraternity annually as an undergrad scholarship reader. As a board member for SVAA, Erika previously served as Secretary before accepting the Membership Development Chair. In her free time she enjoys going to bay area sporting events with her family and exploring Placer County.
Alyssa Dallman
Public Relations Chair
Alyssa Dallman is a graduate from the Eta Sigma chapter at Chapman University. She spent her undergrad time on various committees, most notably serving on Standards committee and as the Event Chairman. Alyssa currently works as a paralegal with aspirations to attend law school. She loves to try new things - last year was figure skating and this year is equestrian riding! As a Sacramento native, she is enjoying exploring more of the city since moving back last year and is looking forward to getting involved with SVAA in this previously vacant role and meeting the incredible women here.
Devon Bohart
Chapter Relations Chair
Devon is a graduate from UC Davis. She has served as its chapter advisor for PR and VP Operations and she is currently a member of the Epsilon Omicron House Association. She has a Masters in Higher Education and currently works in Admissions at UC Davis. In her spare time she likes baking, reading, and spoiling her cats.
Amy Rossig
Night Owls Chair
Amy is a graduate of the Zeta Mu chapter at Virginia Tech. She moved to Midtown, Sacramento in 2019 and currently works as a consultant for affordable housing developers in California. In her free time she enjoys playing the piano, baking apple pies and snuggling with her cat Oliver.
